Sonodesign

Sonodesign, a contemporary product and furniture design company is the brainchild of British designers Grant Baker & Nick Jackson. I'm a big fan of their work...Here are two young designers who have set to design and produce simple, desirable and individual products (and made a success of it) but also committed to get everything produced in the UK which may not have been easy when competing with prices from China but their vision and commitment have paid off!
Their latest range of modern and innovative lighting, including the Bombshade pendant light (below) is now available at WhereDidYouBuyThat.com...

Each lamp is very unique and striking...The Bombshade pendant light has very seductive curves, yet it still gives the effect that a bomb is falling from your ceiling. Each design is made of high-quality acrylic and comes in smoke or clear colour.

And I hope they will go on develop more furniture because I think their Aerial coat stand is amazing. It's very simple, very clever, beautiful and edgy and I love the contrast of material between the stainless steel finish of the coat stand and its base made from a worn railway sleeper base.
