His bookshelves covered all the walls of his studio up to the second floor and he even owns the bookstore next door!

The shot on the second image is a portrait of Lagerfeld's muse
Baptiste Giabiconi. This portrait of Baptiste surrounded by roses and Barbie dolls (check out the Barbie Foot
here) was taken by Lagerfeld last year when French concept store, Colette hired him to shoot a special series of Barbie photos to be displayed for their Barbie 50th birthday celebrations.
